3.4. Ticket Types and Pricing
Turn the event paid, choose its currency, and manage the ticket tiers attendees pick from when they register.
1
Pricing Panel and Tier List
The Tickets tab has two panels: pricing, which decides whether the event is paid at all, and the tier list, which only appears once it is.
| Component | Function & Guidelines |
|---|---|
| Paid event toggle | Switches the event between free and paid. Turning it off hides the tier list but keeps the tiers themselves. |
| Currency (VND / USD / JPY) | One currency for the whole event. Every tier price is entered and displayed in it. |
| Price range | Read-only summary of the cheapest and the most expensive tier, refreshed as you edit. |
| "Add" button | Opens the tier dialog to create a new ticket type. |
| Reorder arrows ↑ ↓ | Change the order tiers appear in on the registration form. The new order saves immediately. |
| Edit / Delete | The pencil reopens a tier for editing; the bin deletes it after a confirmation. |
2
Creating and Editing a Ticket Tier
A tier needs a name and a price. The description is optional and is shown to attendees under the tier name.
| Setting Field | Detailed Instructions |
|---|---|
| "Name" input | The tier label attendees see, for example Early Bird or Student. It must be unique within the event. |
| "Price" input | Amount in the event currency. Enter 0 for a free tier — the list then marks it as Free. |
| "Description" input | Optional line explaining what the tier includes or who it is for. |
| "Save" button | Saves the tier and closes the dialog. The list and the price range update straight away. |
